As many of you know, the voter-approved Proposition 50 maps shift Yuba-Sutter from CD1 & CD3 into Congressional District 4, which is currently represented by Congressman Mike Thompson. These new districts don’t officially take effect until after the 2026 elections, but Rep. Thompson has already been spending time in our region to get to know our communities, priorities, and challenges.
If you’d like to meet him, he’ll be hosting a Coffee with the Congressman event this Sunday from 1–3 PM at the Yuba County Government Center in Marysville. It’s a great chance to share what matters most to you. See Flyer

Saturday December 13: 4th Annual Freedom Riders 1776 Christmas Party and Christmas Light Drive

From 2:30-5pm: We will be having a Christmas Party and Chili Cook-off. We will have Chili, Cornbread, Pasta Salad, Chips & Salsa, Desserts, Hot Cocoa & Apple Cider. ALL FREE!!!

We will be playing Patriotic and Christmas Music.

There will be Arts & Crafts for the kids.

Some Patriot Vendors.

There will be an Ugly Sweater Contest. So make sure you work on those in the coming weeks. We will also be having a Best Christmas Decorated Vehicle Contest. Put Christmas Lights and Decorations as well as flagging up your vehicle.
